Courtesy is easier to practise when life is going smoothly; it’s a far more difficult challenge and far more important when life is fraught.

Courtesy won’t necessarily improve productivity by itself, but it can play a big part in improving the culture of an organisation, its management and its processes.

At a time when most people – individuals, employees, managers and business owners – are understandably looking more closely at their finances, what time is there to think about courtesy? Isn’t it just a nicety? A luxury?

We firmly believe that, as well as making life better for everyone, courtesy is very beneficial to business, leading to increased productivity and profitability.
